Who this covers
This policy covers Backstop, the record-keeping and card-on-file platform operated by Hubbard Studio. Your league also has its own privacy terms for the information it holds about your family — this policy is about the platform underneath.
What we collect
To sign you in we store your email address and name. As you and your league use Backstop, we record an append-only ledger of what happened — invites, consent, card-on-file status, and any charge decision — because that record is the whole point of the product.
We never receive or store your full card number. Card details go directly to Stripe; Backstop only ever sees a token and the last four digits.
Who processes your data
Backstop relies on a small set of subprocessors, each receiving only what it needs: Stripe (payment cards), Google Firebase (sign-in and database hosting), and Resend (email delivery). We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and the evidence ledger for as long as your league's account is active, plus a limited period afterward so a dispute or a tax question can still be answered. After that it is removed.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your record or ask us to delete your personal information by emailing support@joinbackstop.com. Some records tied to a completed charge may be retained where the law requires.
